All we talk about is Rainbow Six; now you can see for yourself with IGN’s video review of the game. Check it out in HD here.
DocterMoo and I enjoy co-op, mostly because we are a tactical force to be reckoned with and enjoy to show that off. We’ve bought plenty a game that’s ended in disappointment when we had high co-op hopes (e.g. Stronghold) but these are the few that have stood the test of us, and succeeded. We’re skipping the make you wait waste and listing them in order or awesomeness - the best at the top.
Take note that we haven’t listed any we didn’t like, but they are ordered from the top down!
With Vegas 2 the Tom Clancy team has taken a good thing and made it grand. Vegas 1 is on our list of top co-op games, but Vegas 2 is at the top of the list.
As you might expect, you lead an expert assault team into Vegas to stop a terrorist plot. The host controls two AI team members as well and the second player controls a main player. The trick to making this game great is playing on the hardest mode you can, and telling the team mates to stay put at the start of the map - they only get in the way.
Once you’ve achieved that, you’re in for amazing sound; incredible graphics; a great ranking system and a truly great co-op game. Don’t be shy about screaming out “FLASHBANG” or “MOVE MOVE MOVE” - we’ll be doing it. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 gets a whopping 5 controllers of joy!

Army of Two may not be the greatest game if you are going to play single player, but for a co-op experience its a ton of fun. Its reasonably short unfortunately but its teamwork requirements and great graphics easily outweigh that.
You start the game as two army grunts, who are convinced to move into the private sector and work for a company named SSC. From there on out its mission after mission of co-op assualt; with team-sniping, foot boosts and the ability to high five.
The game looks fantastic, is a laugh, has plenty action and is specifically designed for co-op. We give it a co-op 4 controllers!

Rainbow Six: Vegas is one of Tom Clancy’s finest. Lead an elite team into Vegas to stop various terrorist attacks. For co-op you can play the full story, or an interesting mode known as terrorist hunt. On extremely ridiculously hard the first terrorist hunt took docmoo and I a week to finish.
The game is good single player, and great fun co-op. It has an online ranking system (but very basic) and various modes with decent graphics and spectacular sound effects. We give it a 4 controller co-op rating!

Stay tuned for more two player online action later this week!
